Your field team
Bring a new pool technician into a shared workflow
Chisel Tide provides a technician roster and assigned routes so adding another technician can start with a clear team structure.
One connected workday
Visit complete · Report ready
Next stop · Weekly service
Start with the real problem
Every handoff means more texts, repeated instructions, and calls to the owner.
A new technician needs to know where to go, what is expected at each stop, and how to report exceptions. A name in a roster is only the beginning. Write down the information your most experienced technician currently carries in their head.
A practical first step
Build a workflow
your team can trust.
Tide’s technician roster supports profiles, availability status, and assigned routes. The technician mobile app is a separate working surface from the owner’s dashboard.
Prepare the team roster
Confirm each person’s name and work email. Identify who will run service visits and who handles repairs. Do not invent an email for someone who has not supplied one.
Plan the first working day
Choose a manageable group of properties. Review access information and the expected service with the technician in your authorized business system. Keep passwords and gate codes out of setup chats.
Check the handoff in practice
Have the technician open their assigned route and walk through a sample stop. Confirm how they report an issue, incomplete work, or a customer request before expanding the assignment.
Keep the conversation going
A starting point
for your assistant.
I am adding a second technician to my pool company. Help me see whether Chisel Tide fits and prepare a team roster without sending invitations.
Chat setup is in preview. Availability depends on your assistant and the Tide connection. You can also create your account on this page when signup is available.
Does adding a technician in chat give them access immediately?
No. Account creation saves the reviewed roster. The owner adds any missing login emails and invites the team afterward.
What chat setup includes
Prepare up to 20 technicians in a new company draft. A technician can be listed before their email is known, but a real login email and the normal invitation process are still needed. Chat setup sends no invitations.
What to measure in your pilot
Count handoff questions and stops requiring office intervention during a pilot week. Ask the technician which missing information caused each interruption.

Customer details are scattered across spreadsheets, texts, and your memory.

Answer “Was my pool serviced?” with a visit record
Customers ask what happened at their pool, and the office has to chase the technician.
Explore the workflowOffice follow-up
Give pool-service invoice follow-up a clear process
The owner spends evenings working out which invoices still need attention.
