A little progress goes a long way
Your business.
Ready for its next step.
You don’t need everything ready on day one. Start small, check the details, and build from there.
Find your starting pointBring what you have
Start with your company name and timezone. Add your technicians, customers, and service addresses at your own pace.
See it before you save it
Your connected assistant prepares a draft. Review the names, addresses, and counts, then make any changes together.

Accept the terms and verify your email to create the account. Complete routes, staff invitations, and billing inside Tide.
Begin with a conversation
Bring your assistant along.
Once Tide is connected, use this starting point. Your assistant should check availability before asking for your records.
Help me set up my pool-service company in Chisel Tide. Check whether chat setup is available, start with my company and a few customers, help me add my technicians, and show me the full setup before creating the account.
Connection details for supported assistants
If your assistant supports custom remote MCP connections, add this setup address with no connection-level authentication. An existing Tide account is not required.
https://app.chiseltide.com/api/onboarding/mcpAsk the assistant to learn about Tide and check setup availability first. Owner email verification is still required to save a new account.
Read the agent setup guide ↗Can I start directly in my assistant?
A compatible assistant must connect to Tide first. An embedded review card appears in supported hosts; other compatible clients use text. Availability varies by host and plan. Checking your verification email may require opening your inbox.
What can I bring into the setup?
A company name and timezone, up to 20 technicians, 100 customers, and 200 properties, with up to 10 properties per customer. These are chat-setup limits, not subscription limits. Drafts expire after seven days.
Will my team or customers receive messages?
Saving a setup does not send staff invitations, customer messages, invoices, or service reports. Customer notifications and portal access start off. You configure access and communication afterward.
Does this move my whole business?
Chat setup prepares a new account and basic records. It does not transfer historical visits, balances, schedules, payment credentials, or extra property contacts. For larger lists, use Tide’s separate bulk-import workflow.
Does this give my assistant ongoing control?
No. The setup connection creates a new company. The existing-account integration requires separate sign-in and is read-only.
