About Tide
The company
Tide is made by Chisel Industries, Inc., a US software company built around one belief: the people who service pools should spend their time on pools, not paperwork. Chisel builds software for the trades, and Tide is its platform for pool service companies, from a single owner-operator truck to businesses with hundreds of technicians.
What Tide is
Tide is autonomous pool operations software. A workforce of AI agents runs the back office: scheduling and routing, billing and collections, customer communication, review and reputation, work orders, and translation. Operate is the conversational AI command center with scheduled playbooks, and Pool Intelligence is the technician's AI copilot in the field. Autonomous never means unsupervised: every action is logged with its reasoning, judgment calls wait for human approval, and customer messages are drafted by AI and sent by humans.
How we make money
The software is free. There is no subscription, no per-seat or per-pool fee, no setup charge, and no contract. Total payment processing on payments made through the platform is just under 3% per transaction, card fees included, and Tide's share comes out of that fee rather than on top of it. We only make money when our customers do, which keeps our incentives pointed at their growth.
Where we are
Tide is in private beta with pool professionals in Arizona, California, and Texas, and companies like Paradise Pools and Azul Pools already run their operations on it, with thousands of stops dispatched and completed daily.
