Service records
Answer “Was my pool serviced?” with a visit record
Chisel Tide records service visits with status and available photos, readings, chemicals, and issues, helping the office review what was recorded at a stop.
One connected workday
Visit complete · Report ready
Next stop · Weekly service
Start with the real problem
Customers ask what happened at their pool, and the office has to chase the technician.
A useful service record answers when the visit happened, what the technician completed, and what still needs attention. A photo alone may not explain an equipment issue; a completion status alone does not describe the work. Agree on the record your team should produce.
A practical first step
Build a workflow
your team can trust.
Tide’s Service Visits page lets the office filter visits and inspect status, assigned technician, photos, chemistry readings, chemicals used, and issues when those details were recorded.
Define a useful visit record
Choose the observations and work details your office needs to answer common customer questions. Teach the team to record an exception when work cannot be completed.
Keep the record attached to the right property
Check the service address before entering results. A customer with several properties needs distinct visit records so the office does not send information about the wrong location.
Review sharing before enabling it
Inspect a completed visit and the intended report. Verify recipients and notification preferences. Make customer communication part of the rollout, with an owner responsible for checking it.
Keep the conversation going
A starting point
for your assistant.
Customers ask whether their pool was serviced and I cannot find the details quickly. Show me how Tide handles service records and what I would need to configure.
Chat setup is in preview. Availability depends on your assistant and the Tide connection. You can also create your account on this page when signup is available.
Will importing a customer send them a report or welcome message?
No. Chat setup sends only the verification email requested by the owner. Enable customer communication and portal access after reviewing the account.
What chat setup includes
New customers created through chat setup start with portal access and customer notifications off. Setup does not create visit history or send service reports.
What to measure in your pilot
Track how often the office can answer a service question directly from a visit record, and which fields are missing when it cannot.
